Of feathers and skin

This blog is a way of reflecting on and documenting the process of making a new devised work. Through the support of the Victorian College of the Arts, Bridget Balodis and myself are making in response to a Jugoslav fairytale "The Pigeon's Bride", working with performers Matt Connell, Chloé Oestreich, Angela Vickers and Matthew Whitty.

This is by no means a complete image of the ups and downs of our process, but an assortment of reflections, images, videos and stimulii that come from and feed into the making of a work.

Through documentation I am able to recoup, reevaluate and reallign. If my thoughts during and after this process were to leave a footprint, it would probably look like this.
